SCHOLARSHIPS
The Medford Schools Foundation is pleased to announce two scholarship programs available to high school students graduating in June 2009:
The Class of 1948 Scholarship
This gift of $2,000 from the Class of 1948, benefits students graduating from North and South Medford High Schools who wish to advance their education beyond hgh school. The Scholarship Committee at each high school will determine the number and amount of each scholarship. Qualifying students must demonstrate financial need and attend an accredited Oregon institution of higher learning, including vocational and trade schools.
The Robert and Leona DeArmond Scholarship
This generous gift of $4,000 from the Robert and Leona DeArmond Foundation will provide four $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors. Two students chosen by the Scholarship Committee at North Medford High School and two students from South Medford High School will attend either the University of Oregon or Southern Oregon University this fall.
To apply for these scholarships, interested students should contact the Scholarship Committee at their high school.
